Next Wave Group, LLC, of Severna Park, Maryland and MJ Executive Management, Inc. of Owasso, Oklahoma have collaborated to offer professional management services to oncology and hematology related societies, nationally and internationally. Next Wave Group, LLC will provide these services under a new division, Hem/Onc Society Services (HOSS). Each company already offers management services to oncology society clients, with a combined total of seven ASCO State Society Affiliates and an allied oncology foundation.
Through this innovative collaboration, the scope of available services will be broadened, as will the depth of expertise. Clients will have access to experts in the areas of advocacy, Continuing Medical Education, membership, digital communications, finance, corporate relationships, institutional relationships, events, publications and more. Each organization will have a designated Executive Director, as well as a support services team. There will be at least one management team member located in each state where a client society is located.
Since 2006, Next Wave Group, LLC has operated virtually, making use of web based applications and digital communications. With this collaboration, the division will have team members in 14 states.
According to Mary Jo Richards, president/CEO of MJ Executive Management, “This collaboration will allow us to offer our clients added value through additional services, economies of scale, synergy and operational redundancy.” Richards will be involved in the creation and operation of the new division.
